Our CSR initiatives

As a family business, we have always been committed to maintaining a strong social and environmental conscience.

Right from the creation of our first site in Gennevilliers, the notions of well-being and eco-design have been at the heart of our concerns.

Our arrival in Chartres, with the integration of our new premises, is the culmination of this desire to combine well-being in the workplace with energy efficiency.

Our new premises feature spacious, light-filled workspaces where every member of our team can work in a serene atmosphere conducive to communication.

In order to share with everyone the values we uphold around Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility, we published our CSR Charter in 2019, which we then reinforced in 2021 with the publication of our first annual CSR report.

In addition, our values, challenges, actions, objectives and progress indicators are assessed every year via the Ecovadis and CDP platforms.

CSR Awards

Through two voluntary processes, ECOVADIS and CDP, we have undertaken an annual assessment of the different areas of action in our CSR approach. They reflect our commitment and efforts over the last few years in the context of our Sustainable Development approach.

Ecovadis Sustainability Rating

PLATINUM medal for the 4th consecutive year

Since its inception in 2007, EcoVadis has become the standard for sustainability and corporate social responsibility rating systems (CSR), creating a global network of over 130,000 rated companies.

Our company approached ECOVADIS in 2015 to carry out its very first assessment, achieving the SILVER level in its first year.

In 2019, after 4 long years of work with our partners and stakeholders, we reached the GOLD level, and in 2021, two years later, we reached the PLATINUM level, placing our company in the top 1% of companies in our sector for our CSR commitment.

TIn 2024, we have maintained our PLATINUM medal for the 4th year running, despite more stringent assessment requirements. This medal is a true recognition of the efforts and commitment made by our company to achieve growth that is reasoned, respectful of people and the environment.

Disclosure Insight Action

The CDP is a non-profit charitable organization that manages the global information system enabling investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their impact on the environment.

We joined the approach proposed by the CDP in 2016, the year from which we began the assessment of our SCOPES 1, 2 and 3, and set our first targets for reducing our CO2 emissions.

Thanks to the efforts of all our partners and employees, in 2023 we achieved CDP's (A-) "Leadership" level for the first time, propelling our company into the ranks of the most committed companies in our industry. We are very proud of this achievement, which is the culmination of the long work begun since 2016.

Responsible Care

Since 2003, we have been committed to the Responsible Care program, a global voluntary initiative of the chemical industry aimed at continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental performance.

FECC Ethical & Business Principles

Since 2012, we have been a signatory to the FECC Ethical & Business Principles Charter of the European Chemical Trade Federation, which represents a commitment to integrity and ethics in our business activities.

RSPO

Since 2017, we have held an RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) distributor license to ensure the traceability of RSPO Mass Balance-certified products by manufacturers. We have also concretized our commitment through an RSPO policy for sustainable palm oil, i.e. economically viable, ecologically appropriate and socially beneficial.

Global compact

As of 2019, we support the United Nations Global Compact corporate social responsibility initiative and its 10 principles around human rights, labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption.

1 Pacte climat

We also joined the 1 Pacte Climat (formerly the French Business Climate Pledge) in 2021 to reaffirm our commitment to participating in the collective effort to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Sustainable development goals

In addition to our support for the United Nations Global Compact, we are committed to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals through a range of corporate actions and employee awareness-raising initiatives.
